About Terra Loire

A strategist equally at home in Toronto’s digital spaces and Newfoundland’s cliffs, Terra Loire Gillespie (they/them) helps organizations worldwide connect authentically with their communities.  As a queer and disabled professional, their lived experience powers trauma-informed, anti-capitalist campaigns that prioritize survivor voices and grassroots leadership. Their pathway from design school to advertising—and then rapidly to community organizing—shaped their resistance to extractive models, fueling work in everything from labour to electoral strategy.

Raised on forest adventures and early lessons in civic responsibility, Terra Loire believes movement building should mirror the interconnectedness found in thriving ecosystems. Whether consulting on complex fundraising campaigns or out foraging with their cats David and Alexis in tow, Terra Loire champions a world where communications harmonize with justice, sustainability, and radical care.
