Announcing: Tools for Solidarity
Exciting news, if you look up at the navigation bar you’ll see a new section: Tools for Solidarity.
Tools for Solidarity is designed as a growing resource hub for activists, organizers, and anyone passionate about building a more just and resilient world. The goal is to equip and inspire others with practical tools and frameworks that help turn solidarity into action.
Let me be blunt for a minute; trying to work on progressive movements within capitalism is draining. To make matters worse, many of the tools we rely on and the spaces we occupy are built for consumerism, commerce, and clicks. Have you ever had Meta reject an ad because it doesn’t understand context? Has Google prompted you to use more “Buy One Get One Free” language in your search ads? Have you put out a petition only to find a well-funded astroturf campaign trying to drown out or confuse your message?
Tools for Solidarity are intended to address these daily contradictions to help fuel your work. Two resources are already available for you to explore and use. They’re designed to support your work in social impact, movement building, and community organizing—no matter where you’re starting from.
And more are on the way – featuring collaborations with many of my favourite colleagues and co-conspirators to bring as many perspectives your way.
If you have an idea for a tool, see gaps that need filling, or are interested in collaborating on developing a resource, I’d love to hear from you. Please shoot me a message here.
